- ArticleFrang D, Rózsahegyi G, Czvalinga I.Z Urol Nephrol. 1978 Sep;71(9):647-51.The case of a young female patient is discussed. The authors removed out of the renal hollow system of this patient a needle. The foreign body passed perorally into the renal pelvis after perforation of the duodenum. There the thicker end of the needle was encrusted; a pyelonephrosis, then a septic condition developed. After removal of the needle the kidney operated on showed a good function.
